Abstract Due to the differences in causes of corrosion, soil corrosion characteristics coastal mountains and areas may be quite different. As a result, there are causes, status service life grounding grids transmission line towers built areas. Based on difference apparent resistivity under area with high this paper selects 12 samples for physical chemical analysis. The analysis results show that two typical soils acid weak alkaline erection area, which highly corrosive but different mechanisms.
